The Tower of Malta Archaeological Museum at Cittadella opened in the early 1990s after the discovery of archaeological findings dating to Bronze, Copper, Roman, Medieval and Modern Ages. The excavations in the old town centre brought to light ceramic and bronze objects, now displayed in topographical and chronological order. The findings reveal the lifestyle of people living in the area north of Padua over the centuries. The striking frame of the Tower of Malta represents a unique, marvellous setting for the museum.
