Museum of the Roman Centuriation at Borgoricco

The Museum of the Roman Centuriation at Borgoricco, opened in February 2009, ows its origine to the collaboration between Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici del Veneto (Veneto Archeological Office), Borgoricco municipalità, Padua Province and Veneto Region. It collects items found in the municipal territory, situated in the North East area of Padua, where are still intact the traces of land division during Octavian Augustus period. This new arrangement, studied to answer to the large attendance and to the need of setting new excavation¿s items off, develops in four large rooms in the first floor of Borgoricco City Centre designed by Aldo Rossi and thanks to a close expositive route, scientific reconstructions, useful boards and various educational activities it could be an important centre of attractions especially for young generations.
