The Longobard Antiquarium at Monselice, located in the library of Cini Castle, includes a necropolis discovered on the hill of Monselice fortress with the bodies of 7 people (4 adults and 3 children) with their tomb sets dated to the first half of the 7th century, and discovered during the excavations carried out between 1988 and 1996 in the only archaeological Longobard site in Padua. The museum was set up in an educational way and is divided into two main sections: the first one consists of a full-scale reassembling of the tombs in a three-dimensional structure with a transparent, tread on covering; the second section hosts the tomb sets consisting of a shield, some arms and personal objects, and a small gold cross displayed in didactic showcases.
