Esapolis is the first museum on insects with a permanent exhibition of living animals. Here visitors will discover all the secrets of entomology and the environment where insects live. Esapolis museum displays the historic silk collections, the tools for silk production, the devices for the study of silkworms, fabrics, and live silkworms and bees. It also shows several procedures used for making all the animal products. Visitors will be able to visit the section on naturalists to discover the great entomology scholars and their study and collection techniques. Currently, the museum hosts two temporary exhibitions of the works of two famous nature photographers. During holidays, the museum ‘tactile’ laboratories will offer visitors exceptional interactive experiences. The museum includes also interesting educational laboratories especially studied for schools. Here students will become familiar with uncommon animals and will discover the atmosphere of old silk mills.
