Archaeological Site of Via San Mauro at Montegrotto Terme: the ruins of a luxurious villa are still preserved within a private property facing via San Mauro. The villa was built in the 1st century A.D. and attended until the 2nd – 3rd century A.D. The Roman villa rose on a plain area, located at the foot of the south slopes of the low hill historically known as Colle Bortolone or Montegrotto.
