The Museum of San Pio X at Tombolo was inaugurated on 19th December 1999, at the end of the century that had begun with the papacy of Pio X. The museum offers to parishioners the great opportunity to explore the roots of their history and rediscover the figure of Pio X, a priest and a saint, who served in Tombolo as chaplain from 1858 to 1867. The aim of the museum is to preserve the memory of the saint to encourage people to follow his example: his restless pastoral dedication, his passion for praying and studying, his sober, essential life, his endless charity. The collection of the museum includes mainly objects that dates to the period when the pope lived in Tombolo, other items are personal donations or represent the genius loci of the local community.
